Biography

I was born and raised in Colorado and received a bachelor’s degree in History with minors in Political Science and Legal Studies at Colorado State University. While in undergraduate school I also invested significant time volunteering with survivors of domestic violence. After graduation, I moved to Oregon to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming an attorney. I was accepted to Willamette University College of Law on a Presidential Scholarship and moved to Salem in the fall of 2017.

During law school, I worked as a clerk for the Polk County District Attorney’s Office, as well as, a clerk for Walsh & Associates PC. I made sure to select coursework and outside experiential learning in areas that emphasized the knowledge and skills necessary for family law practice, including courses specific to Oregon family law and alternative dispute resolution. In law school, I was proud to be elected as President of the Women’s Law Caucus after serving as the Vice President the year prior. This service involved facilitating professional development workshops for students, partnering with the undergraduate campus to provide essential products to students, and coordinating opportunities for law students to volunteer in their community.

During law school, I also worked as a writer and editor of the United States Supreme Court service of Willamette Law Online, which provides summaries of recent USSC activity to its email subscribers. I graduated from Willamette University’s College of Law as the Oregon Women Lawyer’s Law Graduate of the Year.

I was formally sworn in as a member of the Oregon State Bar in October 2020. Since admission, I have represented clients in numerous family law cases including high-value asset division, custody and parenting time modifications, spousal support modifications, prenuptial agreements, marital settlement agreements, and divorce litigation. I emphasize communication and transparency in my practice. As an attorney, you can rely on me to be honest with you and willing to guide you every step of the way. My goal is to make sure you are not entrenched in a years-long legal battle and to find a solution that works for you.

I love living and working in Oregon. I spend my off hours hiking, camping, listening to podcasts, knitting, and spending time with my German Shepherd dog, Louise, in our garden.
